Many thankyous to all for helping make this a success on 20th March 2010. Thankyou to Sheila Colyer and the St Andrew's Parish Hall for providing the perfect central venue for the Fayre. Thankyou to Andy Bedord for providing the magic and Emma for the Face Painting! Thankyou to all on the Friends Group and all the other helpers on the day who made the event so special (in no particular order!) - Allan, Denise, Steve S, Steve B, Rebecca, Linda, Andy H, Andy T, Anne, Glenda, Maxine, Avril, Lauren, Wendy, Martyn, Margaret, Liz, Tim and Trevor Thanks to all the business and friends who donated items for the raffle and tombola.  These were:- Escape Hair & Beauty Utopia Little M's Cottage Flowers Michael Parkinson Currys And of course many thanks to all the visitors who bought items, entered draws and raffles and donated money - and for those that made the cakes we could sell - these were fantastic!

Many thanks to all the STARS IN OUR EYES GROUP for a fantastic performance and providing excellent value for money with a packed show of talent!  Thanks to all those businesses and friends that donated prizes for the raffle and auction and gave us prizes for the tombola. Thankyou to the Hoyland Town Belmont Club (Frank, Raymond, Terry, and everyone else) for arranging and hosting the Stars in Our Eyes night to raise funds for Lowe Stand.   Thanks also to the Stars in Our Eyes management and artists for performing a fantastic show on the night - spending over 3 hours on stage entertaining a very appreciative audience - and they do all this for charities just for expenses. Thankyou to the staff and pupils of Hoyland Common School for inviting us to the school summer fayre, as well as being the first school we gave a presentation to with a set of Y2 kids being very receptive to a talk and photo presentation about Lowe Stand.

Thankyou to the Beggar & Gentlemen pub in Hoyland for allowing us to use the space in front of the pub for our stand - allowing us to raise funds witha  tombola and postcard/badge/keyfob sales as well as the important public consultation we are undertaking!
